Editorial policy and corrections
Ruling yourself out over a misread limit, or counting on an amount that never comes, costs money. This page says where each figure comes from and what we do when something goes wrong.

Order of sources
- Rules published in the BOE, in their consolidated text: Law 19/2021, Royal Decree 789/2022 as amended by Royal Decree 240/2026, Royal Decree-law 3/2026, Royal Decree 241/2026, the General Social Security Act and Law 31/2022;
- Figures published by Social Security on its minimum living income page, which we check against our own calculation;
- Official pages of Social Security, Imserso and the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, for what the rules leave out.
We never use press, blogs or forums as the source of a figure or a date.
Review
Each figure lives in a single file with its source and reading date, and each rule has automated tests. Full review at least every 12 months, sooner when a rule changes or an uprating is published. Last review: 1 November 2026.
Corrections
If you report a mistake, we check it against the source and fix it within a few days. Substantive corrections show in the page's update date.
Independence
The site has no advertisers shaping content, no affiliate links and no deals with agencies, banks or insurers. We collect no contact details and sell nothing.
